Just before the Franklin Fires and Pacific Palisades Los Angeles fires of 2025, I stopped in to visit with Jefferson Wagner at his Zuma Jay Surfboards shop in Malibu. We are the same age. There is a comfort in talking with someone who has lived through your same cultural times and experiences. I asked for him to give me a short candid video interview. Here is the result. The shop survived the LA fires but not without thieves breaking into the store under the cover of the Malibu fire. Thanks to Charley Myers for the use of his Dobro music on this video.
